On Wednesday 11th June, the CDT students came together in Oxford for a training day.
The morning kicked off with a practical workshop on how to have a difficult conversation. Students explored strategies to prepare for challenging discussions and practiced techniques for navigating them with confidence and empathy.
In the afternoon, we welcomed Dave Jarman, Associate Professor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Bristol, for an inspiring session on developing and delivering engaging presentations. Students had the chance to present their own work to peers and receive constructive feedback, followed by targeted skill-building activities to refine their delivery.
